Outside of Cycle Gear north of Knoxville. I was getting ready to go when a guy came out and started talking to me. It was not long before the conversation turned from recommendations on where to go in Arizona and nearby states to warnings and advice about all the things that can go wrong.
He eventually mentioned he was in insurance and always looked at the dark side of things.
I tried to rebut him for a while but eventually I just told him he was bumming me out and that I just could not listen to him anymore. He went inside and I just had to stand there and laugh out loud for a while. He must have seen me because a few minutes later when he came out he wouldn’t even look at me.
